Greening the Heartland Exhibitors have been
asked to take measures to:
- Minimize the amount of printed handouts shipped and
available on site.
- Subscribe to use the electronic lead retrieval system
so exhibitors can electronically capture data from attendees
who would like more information about their company for
later transmission after the conference.
- Print materials and signage with soy/vegetable based
ink and recycled materials.
- Minimize packing materials as much as possible while
utilizing recyclable, biodegradable packing materials.
- Recycle cardboard, freight boxes, plastic wrapping
and any other recyclable items during move in and move
out.
- Bring small amounts of materials and offer to send
information upon request. Printed materials will
be soy/vegetable based ink and recycled materials. This
will hold true for signage as well.
