The Green Advantage Training Program offers real-world, practical information with broader, big-picture concepts to prepare students to accomplish four important goals:

• Understand and enforce the core concepts and construction principles behind sustainable buildings, leading to holistic views of their work from the different trades.
• Integrate green practices and strategies into construction processes which will lighten the impact on the environment, save energy and improve the health conditions of construction workers and building occupants.
• Become knowledgeable enough about the LEED rating system as it applies to construction to be an active partner with design professionals to achieve a LEED rated building.
• Become thoroughly prepared for the Green Advantage Certification Exam. The exam is scheduled a week to 10 days following the training or may be scheduled independently at a community college of your choice for a $25 charge.
