Alberici Headquarters
The Alberici Headquarters building has been certified
Platinum under the LEED for New Construction rating
system at 60 points, the world’s second highest
credit level achieved to date. Alberici Constructors
converted a 50-year-old manufacturing facility
into 110,000 square feet of Class A office space,
incorporating numerous environmentally friendly
features, including:
- Recycling portions of the existing building
and eliminating 93% of all construction and demolition
materials from local landfills.
- The addition of operable clerestories for ventilation
and atriums for natural light, reducing the need
for artificial light.
- Raised-floor construction in office areas with
floor vents for individually controlled warm and
cool air distribution.
- Energy-efficient mechanical systems that reduce
energy consumption.
- Incorporation of locally supplied materials
with high percentages of recycled content.

Street
The first wind turbine in St. Louis city is among
the features that earned the Kerr Family Foundation
at 21 O’Fallon Street a platinum rating on
the U.S. Green Building Councils Leadership in Energy
and Environmental Design (LEED) rating system. |
